Planting Purpose with Poetry in This Wonderful World Guidebook
Humans have evolved to need a friend; we’ve been designed to crave companionship. And yet, sometimes life is oh-so lonely. With or without friends or family, whether or not we’re married- so many of us crave understanding: the care and compassion of someone who gets us gives humble guidance in all our confusions, mercy and forgiveness when we’ve made mistakes, gives a helping hand on all our hard days. But human love, like life itself, comes with storms and comes with droughts. Our fumbly human hearts wax and wane- We need love, and yet we’re learning. Thankfully, however, there is a friend that’s found in (our) nature, that’s found in everything: When we see life as a mirror, the forever friend is found someone who always listens, someone who sticks around not as a replacement for the need to connect but as a foundation that serves all the rest: As I've found a friend in the living mirror, I've found solid ground for my heart to grow stronger so that I become the friend that I have always wanted then friends begin appearing all over the planet.
