Before connecting and reflecting with the world around me, it always helps to tune into myself first. When I’m aware of what’s happening within me, I’m much more aware of how my feelings and thoughts may be impacting how I see (and interact with) the world around me. Tuning-in to myself also helps me become aware of (and express) what I’m needing support with; life can’t support me if I’m unclear about how I need help.
